Drummohr is one of the few accredited 5-star dog friendly campsites near Edinburgh. Nestled in picturesque East Lothian, just 2 miles from Musselburgh and the shores of the Firth of Forth, it’s perfectly placed for exploring Scotland’s capital as well as the stunning beaches and villages nearby
Our 2 and 3 bedroom dog friendly lodges, some with private hot tubs, provide a cosy retreat for you and your four-legged friend. With scenic walks on your doorstep and superb transport links into Edinburgh, Drummohr makes an ideal year-round escape, whether you’re visiting the Christmas markets or celebrating Hogmanay.
We’re a peaceful, family and dog-friendly campsite with a quiet policy after 10.30pm. The bus stop to Edinburgh is just a 5-minute walk away, while the train station, around 20 minutes on foot gets you to the city in 10 minutes, with free parking at the station. There’s plenty to explore nearby, from dog-friendly beaches to charming East Lothian villages.
About our dog-friendly hot tub lodges
Our dog friendly lodges sit in a peaceful corner of our campsite, away from touring and glamping areas. With views through the trees across the Firth of Forth towards Fife, they’re perfect for relaxing on your private veranda or stargazing under dark skies. Enjoy scenic walks with your dog and make use of our excellent campsite amenities. Please note, our Lammermuir holiday lodges do not include hot tubs.
We have the choice of family lodges at Drummohr:
- Forth Lodges - 3 bedroom lodges with hot tub (1 double en-suite shower; 1 double/twin; 1 twin; family bathroom with shower over bath); Sleeps 6, max 4 adults
- Lammermuir Lodges - 3 bedroom family lodge (1 double en-suite shower; 1 double/twin; 1 twin; family bathroom with shower over bath) (no hot tub); Sleeps 6, max 4 adults
- Lothian Lodges - 1 double and 1 twin en-suite shower bedroom lodges with hot tub; sleeps 4
Please note in line with our quiet site policy all hot tubs must be vacated by 10.30pm at the latest.
What is included with our lodges with hot tub near Edinburgh?
Whilst individual family lodge configurations differ (refer to individual hot tub lodge pages) the following is included as standard:
- Well-equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave and electric cooker (our Lammermuir lodges do not have a washing machine)
- Open plan dining and living area with smart TV and large leather sofas
- Direct access onto a furnished private veranda with charcoal BBQ and partial sea views (and private hot tub in our lodges with hot tubs)
- Beds are made up for your arrival with Egyptian cotton bed linen
- Towels provided
- Shaver sockets in the bathrooms
- Central heating throughout
- Free WiFi
- Private parking for 2 cars at the side of the holiday lodge - EV charging station on site
- Children's playground and licensed shop on site
- Dog walk and hot water dog wash on site
