Drummohr Camping and Glamping Site nestles peacefully within the trees and stone walls that encircle this picturesque site, the home of a former monastery. Glimpses of the sparkling Firth of Forth, with views across to Fife, can be seen through the trees across the site.
Drummohr is a peaceful family-friendly site, suitable for families and couples looking to enjoy camping in Edinburgh and benefit from both a relaxing time in the outdoors and a good night’s sleep.
We do not accept group bookings comprised of 8 people or more in one or more accommodation types nor are we suitable for large parties, hen or stag groups. We have a low noise policy which means no music or loud noise from any device that can be heard outside of your accommodation. Therefore, we may not be the best site for camping in groups or for anyone who wants to stay up late with friends or family. If this is you then we respectfully request that you stay at a different site. Noise does travel and may disturb other guests.

Our Edinburgh campsite wardens undertake a nightly walk-round at 10pm to ensure that guests are not being disturbed by the inconsiderate nature of others. We politelyt request conversation-level noise only after 10pm so that those who want an early night are able to sleep. Guests in our hot tub accommodation Edinburgh are required to vacate their hot-tub by 10pm and the campsite playground closes at 9pm latest to avoid undue disturbance to the touring pitches close by. We require all guests to be considerate and respectful of the site wardens on their nightly walk-round and you will be asked to leave the site immediately if you are not.
If you are a multi-generational family looking for a get-together in the beautiful East Lothian countryside and are respectful of our low noise policy, then we have a range of accommodation options for everyone. Our campsite near Edinburgh allows you to conveniently explore Edinburgh's coast and countryside. Our lodges with hot tubs are fully equipped and comfortable for guests who shy away from the idea of glamping or camping but still wish to be part of the get-together. We have a variety of Edinburgh glamping pods, cabins and bothies including en-suite WC options which offer other members of the group a Scottish glamping experience at a range of budgets, whilst guests with touring units such as tents, motorhomes, caravans or camper vans can use their own accommodation and experience our 5-star amenities.
