As a Scottish dog-friendly campsite in East Lothian, we know how important it is to bring along the dearly loved canine members of your family. Camping and glamping with your dog can be one of the very best experiences to share with your four-legged friend. We even have a dog walk at the campsite and there are lots of great dog walks nearby from our campsite near Edinburgh.

  • Up to 2 'well behaved’ dogs allowed in our dog-friendly Edinburgh holiday lodges and Melville Retreat luxury self catering (no dogs allowed in our Pentland lodges)
  • 1 'well behaved' dog allowed in our dog-friendly glamping pod family bothies or double Hexi glamping pods for a cleaning charge of £6 a night (please note no dogs in our themed Hexi glamping pods)
  • Up to 2 'well behaved' dogs per camping or touring pitch free of charge
  • No dogs in our Single Octo or themed Hexi glamping pods, our Deluxe glamping bothies or Pentland lodges

What we ask of all dog owners

  • All dogs must be kept on a short lead or be tethered at all times whilst on site even on the Dog Walk
  • Please clean up after your dog even on the Dog Walk
  • Please do not allow your dogs onto the soft furnishings or beds
  • Please do not allow your dog to be a nuisance to other guests when camping Edinburgh
  • Dogs should be healthy (vaccinated), socialised and obedient
  • No dangerous breeds please
  • Please never leave them alone in any Drummohr accommodation, even if that is your own, for an unfamiliar setting could force them to become distressed and/or a nuisance to other guests
  • Small charge for your pets (£6 per night glamping and £35 per stay in a pet-friendly holiday lodge or Melville Retreat)

If these important rules are not adhered to, then you will be asked to leave the site.
