With superb transport links into the city, it is an excellent location for camping in Edinburgh for events like the Edinburgh Fringe or Edinburgh Festival camping. • Christmas camping in Edinburgh - escape the usual festivities to enjoy a peaceful Christmas at Drummohr or why not visit one of the Edinburgh Christmas markets which start in late November?
• Hogmanay - book early to guarantee your touring pitch, holiday lodge with hot tub or glamping pod as we are always fully booked with guests wanting to enjoy the Princes St celebrations and midnight fireworks. Many guests return before midnight to watch the fireworks from the campsite
• Six Nations Rugby - Murrayfield is the home of Scottish Rugby and games take place during February and March, with the Autumn Internationals in November
• Edinburgh Festival and Edinburgh Fringe - our campsite is always fully booked during August for festival camping so book early if you want to enjoy the Edinburgh festival activities and avoid extortionate city centre hotel and parking charges
• Edinburgh Marathon Festival - takes place the last weekend of May and our site is always a popular choice, with the finishing line a short walk from the campsite entrance. We organise a bus to take guests to the marathon start
• Edinburgh Music - as well as venues such as the Edinburgh Playhouse, Usher Hall and the Queens Hall, the stadium of Murrayfield has recently hosted some of the world's most popular artists including Taylor Swift, Oasis, ACDC, Bruce Springsteen and Robbie Williams.
