What's On

In Edinburgh you can enjoy international festivals, shows and comedy events at the various theatres and playhouses around the city or visit one of the many exhibitions that take place at the variety of locations ran by Edinburgh Museums or the National Museum of Scotland. Princes St Gardens are home to the famous Edinburgh Christmas markets and the Hogmanay celebrations to mark the turn of the year.

With a choice of public transport access by bus and by train into both Edinburgh and along the East Lothian coast to North Berwick, Drummohr Camping and Glamping site is an ideal spot to based yourself when visiting the area for Edinburgh festivals or Edinburgh events. Scotland’s capital city has so much to offer for all the family, not only during Edinburgh festival season. Drummohr is a short walk from Wallyford train station; a 10-minute journey into Edinburgh Waverley where you can connect to mainline train services UK wide.

Edinburgh is also home to a variety of sporting events at Musselburgh Racecourse or the home of Scottish Rugby BT Murrayfield. The Edinburgh Marathon takes place in the last Sunday in May and with the finish line in Musselburgh, Drummohr is ideal accommodation for the Edinburgh Marathon for runners and spectators alike. Please book early as we do fill for the Edinburgh marathon.

East Lothian is blessed with lots of visitor attractions and there are many seasonal events. Follow us on our Facebook page where we regularly promote what’s going on in the local area.
