Drummohr Campsite Code

Some campsite rules to be aware of when staying with us so that all guests can safely enjoy their time at our quiet campsite Edinburgh. If you are unable or unwilling to respect these campsite rules, which are there for the benefit of everyone, please book a stay elsewhere.

Please also view our Terms and Conditions which are updated periodically.

  • Our most important campsite rule is that we are a quiet campsite Edinburgh, so no noise after 10.30pm please and no music that can be heard outside your glamping accommodation, hot tub lodge, tent or touring pitch at any time. Please respect this rule, it is stressful for guests and wardens alike if our team are trying to enforce the quiet campsite rule after dark. Noise does travel easily across our peaceful site. Behaviour that is inappropriate, disruptive, noisy, offensive or likely to cause any harm or upset to other guests will not be tolerated.
  • Our maximum campsite speed limit is 5mph, so 1st gear whilst driving will be enough. Safety is paramount as there may be small children playing and whilst all dogs need to be kept on a lead one may try and make a run for it.
  • Please respect our arrival and departure times which differ depending on the pitch or accommodation booked. On busy changeover days our wardens are up against it anyway particularly in relation to the draining and re-filling of hot tubs. If you need a late check-out time please enquire at Reception and we'll do our best to accommodate you if we can. If you are going to arrive after 6pm please let is know in advance so we can arrange for someone to be around to greet you.
  • We do reserve the right to refuse entry and the right to ask people to leave at any time but that's stressful for the caring team on our quiet campsite so please don't put them in a position where they have to. Please be considerate of other guests, particularly if you have had a drink.

  • We do have flexible cancellation policies but please note that refunds will never be given for early departure, even if down to adverse weather conditions. We are a small site and we have to pay our team regardless.
  • If you are staying in our hot tub accommodation Edinburgh please familiarise yourself with the hot tub rules, they are there for your comfort and safety. NEVER take glass into a hot tub for obvious reasons. As we are a quiet campsite, all hot tubs must be vacated by 10.30pm.
  • We value genuine guest feedback and welcome Drummohr holiday park guest reviews, but if you see something that isn't right we would prefer to know about it during your stay to give us the opportunity to put it right rather than reading about it online later.
  • We are a dog friendly campsite, with a dog walk around the site perimeter and hot water dog wash but all dogs must be kept on a lead whilst on our quiet campsite. Please don't allow them to bother other guests and never leave them alone in any accommodation, even if it is your own caravan, tent or motorhome. Something might spook them that you have not expected. It goes without saying that you should clean up after your pets, we provide poo bags and dog bins throughout the site.
  • We offer firepits for hire but please do not bring your own or use a charcoal BBQ as a firepit. This is for H&S reasons. Open fires are strictly forbidden.
  • Please do not allow your BBQs to scorch the grass or picnic tables.
  • Only one car per pitch, glamping pod or bothy (maximum two in our lodges with hot tub or Melville Retreat). We do not have space for additional car parking.
  • No commercial vehicles are permitted to stay on site, non sign written converted vans allowed if a side window has been fitted.
  • Day visitors must be booked in at reception and must pay the relevant charges. All day visitors must be off the site by 9.30pm for the comfort of other guests.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst staying on our campsite.
  • Use of our hot tubs and childrens' playground is at your own risk but please report anything to Reception.
  • No gazebos or windbreaks please. If you have an awning or pull out canopy please ensure that you have booked a suitable pitch as not all our pitches allow awnings or canopies due to their size.
  • We can't guarantee a specific pitch, lodge or glamping pod but if you call us after you have booked we will do our best to accommodate any special requests or ensure that you are located near friends and family. This is subject to availability.
  • Please do not use the motorhome service point between 8pm and 8am to avoid disturbing guests on nearby pitches and avoid disposing of glass bottles in the rubbish bins between these times for the same reason.
  • Please keep your pitches rubbish free and dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided before you leave. Please keep the bin areas tidy and do not leave large items lying by the side of the bins. Please use the recycling bins wherever possible.
  • Please ensure that children are supervised on our children's playground and avoid being a nuisance to guests on adjoining pitches.

Please respect these campsite rules. If you spot any guests not following our quiet campsite rules please let Reception know. If it's out of hours and urgent please call the emergency telephone number but we request that guests respect the off duty time of our wardens and only call them out of hours for something important or urgent.
