Check-In and Arrival
Upon arrival at Drummohr, you will find a parking area with our Reception building on your right. At the moment one of our campsite wardens will normally come to your vehicle to greet you but if not, please check-in at Reception. Here you will be provided with the entrance code for the security barrier, site map and information to help with your stay with us. One of our site wardens will show you to your pitch and answer any questions you might have in respect of our Edinburgh caravan and camping site or the local area.
There is plenty of space for caravans, camper vans and motorhomes to park whilst checking-in but please park along the fence and avoid blocking the barrier or campsite entrance. The earliest arrival time is 1pm for tourers. Click HERE for all Arrival and Departure times. If you are going to be arriving later than 6pm please let us know so that we can arrange for someone to be there to greet you. Respectfully we do not allow campsite arrivals after 9pm to avoid disturbing other guests.
We stock a small selection of local produce and convenience items. Currently we do not hold an alcohol license. Further shops, including a Co-op, are available in Prestonpans, just 1 mile away and Musselburgh, 2 miles away. The nearest large supermarkets are Tesco Extra and Aldi in Musselburgh and there is also a bakers, greengrocers and butchers on the High Street in Musselburgh.
Fire Pits and BBQs
Whilst you are staying on our East Lothian touring site, please pop in to our Reception to enquire about hiring BBQs and fire bowls for your glamping pods, bothies or touring pitch, information about local attractions, amenities and places to eat and local walks. Our campsite wardens are always happy to help! Own fire pits are not allowed on site, only those hired through Reception. Additional logs are also available through Reception.
