Check-In and Arrival
Upon arrival at Drummohr, our campsite in Edinburgh, you will find a parking area with our Reception building on your right. At the moment one of our campsite wardens will normally come to your vehicle to greet you but if not, please check-in at Reception. Here you will be provided with the entrance code for the security barrier, site map and information to help with your stay with us. One of our site wardens will show you to your pitch and answer any questions you might have in respect of our Edinburgh caravan park or the local area.
Arrival Times
There is plenty of space for caravans, camper vans and motorhomes to park whilst checking-in for caravan holidays Edinburgh, but please park along the fence and avoid blocking the barrier or campsite entrance. The earliest arrival time is 1pm for tourers. Click HERE for all Arrival and Departure times.If you are going to be arriving later than 6pm please let us know so that we can arrange for someone to be there to greet you or provide you with remote check in details. Respectfully we do not allow arrivals after 9pm at our campsite in Edinburgh to avoid disturbing other guests.

Friendly Service and Expert Advice
Whether you want some advice on local attractions or the best dog walks Edinburgh, have forgotten something essential or are struggling to pitch your tent or site your caravan, our on-site wardens are there to lend a hand or a piece of equipment so pop in and see us and we will do what we can.
Our Licensed Shop
Our shop is typically open between 9am and 6pm (8pm on a Friday). We stock a small selection of local produce and convenience items in the licensed shop which is located in the Reception of our holiday park in Edinburgh including Fidra coastal gin, real ales from the Winton brewery and NEW Italian gelato ice cream tubs from Porrelli.
Further shops, including a Co-op, are available in Prestonpans, just 1 mile away and Musselburgh, 2 miles away. The nearest large supermarkets are Tesco Extra and Aldi in Musselburgh and there is also a bakers, greengrocers and butchers on the High Street in Musselburgh. There are menus from local takeaways in the Information Room and many of our guests order their food from Just Eat when staying with us.
Fire Pits and BBQs
Whilst you are staying on our East Lothian touring site or Edinburgh lodges with hot tub, please pop in to Reception to enquire about hiring BBQs and fire bowls for your glamping pods, bothies or touring pitch, information about local attractions, amenities and places to eat and local walks. Our campsite wardens are always happy to help! Own fire pits are not allowed on site, only those hired through Reception. Additional logs, bags of charcoal and disposable BBQs are also available through Reception.
Information Point
Opposite Reception is an Information Point and Book Exchange where you will find lots of information on the local area and the attractions of East Lothian to help you get the most out of caravan holidays Edinburgh. There is also a large OS map of East Lothian. In our Information Room you will find menus from local takeaways, the majority will deliver to the campsite entrance. Alternatively you can order food for delivery using Just Eat.
Discounts at popular East Lothian Attractions
At Reception we have vouchers offering discounts at popular East Lothian attractions including Royal Musselburgh Golf Club, 20% off entrance to East Links Family Park at Dunbar and 20% off entrance to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Call in to the Drummohr Reception and speak to one of our wardens to pick up a discount voucher.
Laundry
There are coin operated washing machines and tumble driers in the top amenity block.
