Recycle your old reading material at our Drummohr Book Exchange (located in the Information Point at to the left of the Edinburgh campsite entrance barrier) and make a donation to charity,

Do you like reading and want to share your favourites with other Edinburgh camping or glamping guests when taking a self-catering or camping trip in Scotland? If so, a Book Exchange might be for you?

Is your house full of books that you have read and are not likely to re-visit but would like to donate them to a worthy cause? If so, have you considered the Drummohr Book Exchange?

Do you want to share travel books for places you have visited in Scotland especially around Edinburgh, the Borders, East Lothian or South East Scotland? We have lots of guests, some from overseas, who are visiting Drummohr and Scotland for the first time.

Do you never get time to read and are looking forward to using your relaxing camping or glamping short break at Drummohr Holiday Park to catch up on a good classic or romantic novel?

If so, then why not use your Edinburgh camping trip to swap some of your books that you no longer need? Drummohr have set up a Book Exchange for guests in the Information Point opposite our Reception area. Bring along your used books and swap them for another one. You can borrow from our Drummohr Book Exchange to read whilst camping or glamping with us on site or take it away for future enjoyment. You don’t need to even have a book to exchange to borrow another. Donations are requested and all money raised from our Book Exchange goes to our chosen charity. If you finish a book on site, then please leave it in your glamping pod, Scottish holiday lodge or with Reception so we can place it into our Drummohr Book Exchange and another guest can benefit from future enjoyment.

So why not get out your comfortable camping chair, make a brew or pour yourself a glass of wine, wrap up warm, sit back and enjoy a good read from our Drummohr Book Exchange in the peaceful surroundings of our East Lothian caravan site. If it’s a bit chilly why not hire a fire pit from Reception and listen to the sound of a crackling fire whilst you read.
