We are a caravan and camping site near Edinburgh. Our gorgeous Edinburgh campsite is just 2 miles from Musselburgh and 10 miles from Edinburgh Castle, which is easily accessible from Drummohr by public transport by both bus and train.
There is a bus stop 5 minutes’ walk from the campsite entrance. Buses to Edinburgh bus station take around an hour and stop on Princes St. The railway station is just 20 minutes’ walk, with a large free car park at the station. Trains take 10 minutes into Edinburgh Waverely. For the more energetic it’s a beautiful cycle, mainly on off-road tracks from Drummohr into Edinburgh City Centre.

If you want to step up your game when stargazing in Edinburgh, why not visit the Edinburgh Royal Observatory, one of the UK's major centres of astronomical research. The observatory holds regular open evenings for the public and is the ideal activity for those interested in astronomy.
