National Trust for Scotland
Close to Drummohr you will find Newhailes House and Gardens, a country estate from the 17th century. Step back in time with guided tours of the stunning Palladian mansion, enjoy woodland walks and views of the River Forth, or grab a bite to eat in the Stables Cafe. There's also an Adventure Playground for the children to explore! Just a 15 minute drive from Drummohr!

Historic Scotland
Whilst Edinburgh city centre is home to some of the most famous historic sites including Edinburgh Castle and The Palace of Holyrood House, there are a host of impressive castle, fortresses and historic sites to visit near Edinburgh as well. Craigmillar Castle, also known as Edinburgh’s ‘Other Castle’ was once a safe haven for Mary Queen of Scots back in 1566 and is just a 20 minute drive from Drummohr. Shopping Near Edinburgh
Edinburgh is well known for its fantastic shopping – from the tourist shops on the Edinburgh Royal mile, boutique shops in Morningside and Bruntsfield, to department stores on Princes St and high-end designers on George St, there’s something for everyone. Edinburgh also has some popular shopping centres on the outskirts of the city, with the Gyle Shopping Centre just off the city bypass, Ocean Terminal in Leith and Fort Kinnaird just next to the A1. Both within easy reach of Drummohr by bus or car.
There are a range of towns and villages in East Lothian with independent stores, cafes and galleries such as Gullane, Haddington Aberlady and North Berwick.
Outdoor Activities and Adventure
